SAN MARCOS, TXLive Oak Health Partners (LOHP) Specialty Care will soon open its Lockhart clinic, allowing some patients to remain local rather than travelling to surrounding cities for care. A grand opening and ribbon cutting event will be held at the new LOHP Lockhart clinic at 1711C South Colorado Street on April 30 at 4:30 p.m. Attendees will be able to meet the LOHP team, enjoy appetizers and win door prizes.

About Live Oak Health Partners
Live Oak Health Partners (LOHP) was formed January 1, 2012 by the joining of two existing medical practices in San Marcos:  Central Texas Medical Associates and Specialty Physicians of Central Texas.  It is the first locally operated multi-specialty group in Hays County. More than 20 Primary Care and Specialty Physicians, Physician Assistants and a Nurse Practitioner provide high-quality coordinated medical care to the citizens of Hays County and the surrounding communities. LOHP specialty care services include allergies/ENT, general surgery, orthopaedics, and plastic surgery. Several Live Oak surgeons currently perform procedures using the physician-guided da Vinci robotic surgical system.

LOHP operates the clinical services at the Hays County Personal Health Department, providing family care, well child exams, prenatal care and immunizations to Hays County residents in need. The Live Oak Care NOW Clinic offers extended evening and weekend hours for fast, affordable walk-in medical care.
