Endocrinologist joins Live Oak Health Partners

ENDOCRINOLOGIST JOINS LIVE OAK HEALTH PARTNERS

SAN MARCOS, TXDorota Malinowski, MD, a board certified endocrinologist, recently joined Live Oak Health Partners Specialty Care physicians group.
 
As the only endocrinologist currently practicing in San Marcos, Dr. Malinowski will provide a higher level of care for patients facing endocrine diseases, including type 1, type 2 and gestational diabetes. Dr. Malinowski said she has a special interest in the treatment of metabolic syndrome, insulin resistance and patients with polycycstic ovarian syndrome. 
 
“I look forward to joining this medical community,” she said. “It is my goal to support patients by providing quality care.”
 
Dr. Malinowski is originally from Warsaw, Poland, and received her medical degree at Warsaw Medical University. She completed an Internal Medicine residency at New York Medical Center of Queens, and practiced as an internist in rural and urban settings. Following her interest in diabetes and thyroid diseases, she completed an endocrinology fellowship at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. She has been practicing in the Austin area since 2009. In her free time, she enjoys practicing yoga, travelling and spending time with her husband and two children.
