CTMC TO CO-SPONSOR 2013 CHICK FIL-A LEADERCAST EVENT
SAN MARCOS, TX – Central Texas Medical Center (CTMC), along with McCoy Building Supply, will be presenting sponsors for the upcoming 2013 Chick Fil-A Leadercast “Simply Lead” event, taking place on Friday, May 10 from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the San Marcos Conference Center at Embassy Suites.
The Leadercast, which is spearheaded by the San Marcos Chamber of Commerce, will be broadcast live from Atlanta, Ga. to hundreds of locations around the world. The day-long seminar will include several powerful speakers, including Duke University Head Basketball Coach Mike Krzyzewski and 2012 Olympic Track and Field Gold Medalist Sanya Richards-Ross. As an added value, the San Marcos event will feature a special lunch time presentation from Brian McCoy, President, and Megan McCoy Jones, Vice President of Field Support, for McCoy's Building Supply.
CTMC is sending several of its associates to be part of the event, and other businesses and individuals are also encouraged to attend as well. General admission is being offered at a discounted rate of $89, and a group rate is available for $69. The hospital, which originated in 1923 as Hays County Soldiers, Sailors and Marines Memorial Hospital, was restructured in 1960. The present facility was opened at its current Wonder World Drive location in 1983.
