| Aug 29 Buda/Kyle Gold Santa - Garage Sale Fundraiser |
Century 21 - Randall Morris & Associates will hold a garage sale fundraiser to benefit the Buda/Kyle Gold Santa program. The garage sale will take place at Willie's Joint Bar & BBQ, 824 Main Street from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m on Saturday, August 29th.
Gold Santa has been a tradition in the Wimberley area for many years now. This effort is a charity that works to provide gifts to families with children in the area who would otherwise not have gifts for Christmas. This year will be the debut of Buda/Kyle Gold Santa! As a company, we have expanded our reach from the original Wimberley Gold Santa to the San Marcos, New Braunfels & Buda/Kyle communities. Hays ISD will provide us a list of families that need our help this Christmas season.
Please consider providing your financial support to Buda/Kyle Gold Santa. We welcome your help in any way! If you know of any fundraising events or have ideas of how you think your group may be able to assist our efforts this year we are open to any and all suggestions. 100% of the money raised for Buda/Kyle Gold Santa is spent on gifts for local families. Donations of new, unwrapped toys will be collected at a number of local sites. Financial donations are greatly appreciated as well. Make checks payable to Buda/Kyle Gold Santa and mail to 1567 Main Street, Suite 800, Buda, Texas 78610. Donations can also be dropped off at the same address, which is the Century 21 Randall Morris & Associates’ office. Online donations are gratefully received via our GoFundMe page.
Distribution will be in mid-December and toy buying will begin in October. Please consider helping us provide a great Christmas season for our kids!

Refugee Resettlement Program
You are cordially invited to hear a presentation by Mr. Mamadou Balde from Caritas od Austin on Sunday, August 30th at Buda United Methodist Church, 302 Elm Street in Buda. Reception begins at 4 p.m. and light snacks will be served. Mr. Balde's presentation begins at 5 p.m. We will be welcoming any participants in the resettlement program who are able to attend. Participants in the program have been granted asylum due to war and persecution in their home countries. Each year, Caritas of Austin serves more than 500 refugees from over 20 different countries as the transition to life in the United States and work to achieve self-sufficiency. Many have experienced trauma in leaving home, and finding home. Many governments, including the United States partner with UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to protect and assist refugees who are unable to return to their home countries.
